Join the mailing list
The Post-growth Economics Network mainly communicates through our mailing list. To join the network, you simply need to sign up to the mailing list – everyone is welcome. We use the mailing list to tell each other about upcoming events and conferences, to ask and discuss questions, to share new job adverts and grant opportunities, and coordinate network activities. Everybody is allowed to send e-mails to the list. So don’t hesitate, if you want to share something exciting, have a question or want to propose a new project idea. By joining the mailing list you are agreeing to abide by our code of conduct.
Join a working group
The activities of the network are organised by working groups. Some of the working groups are operating continuously, while others are set up for a specific purpose, for example to organise a workshop or write a funding proposal. The working groups are open to anyone who is motivated to contribute, no prior experience is required. If you want to join any of them or have a proposal for a new one, feel free to send an email to the mailing list or contact us.
Join the coordination group
The coordination group is responsible for coordinating the overall activities of the network to make sure they are in line with our mission statement, code of conduct and organising principles. The members of the coordination group are elected by the members of the network and serve for two years in overlapping terms. That means that half of the coordination group positions are elected each year in the autumn. At the time of the election we are always looking for members to join the coordination group. Keep an eye on the mailing for details on nominations and the electoral process in the run-up to the election.
Join the PEN member community
The PEN member community is for all interested post-growth economics network members. You simply create a user account and gain access to our network directory and community forum where you can interact with members, consult other experts in the field, and build community. Members of PEN represent only their individual views and do not speak on behalf of the network.
